    American lopseed, Phryma leptostachya. I just learned this plant this spring–it’s one of the indicator species that we use at work in our rich cove monitoring protocol.

    Lopseed, from the seeds that have (f)lopped over, but I don’t know much about it.

    Yes, this is Lopseed (Phryma leptostachya). It’s such a delicate-looking plant with its small flowers and little seed cases.
