Whorled loosestrife, Lysimachia quadrifolia. This was one of the first wildflowers that I identified myself from a book, on a hike to Higgins Bald in the Blacks many years ago.

  2. Jeff G. says:

Lysimachia quadrifolia— Evan got it a few minutes before me– congrats.

  3. Deej says:

This plant also grows in Arkansas’ zone 7a

  4. Angelyn says:

Indeed, this is Whorled loosestrife (Lysimachia quadrifolia). The flowers are small and well worth a close look.
