  1. Norman Smith says:

Shrubby St. Johnswort (Hypericum prolificum)…just a guess. Never seen one in person

  2. Val says:

I agree…definitely Shrubby St Johnswort (Hypericum prolificum)…although there are so many Hypericums they can be exhausting to identify!) I love to see the Bumblebees plow through those flowers!

  3. Sara says:

one of the St. Johnsworts, but I can never remember the big one’s name (and peeking at previous answers I’d agree with Shrubby St. Johnswort).

  4. Rachel S Dutton says:

    Shrubby St Johnswort (Hypericum prolificum)

  5. Angelyn says:

Sorry, this is not Shrubby St. Johnswort (Hypericum prolificum). Try again.

  6. Jasmene says:

Golden St John’s Wort Hypericum frondosum

  7. Dr R. K S. Rathore says:

I am sure, it is Hypericum frondosum, cultivar ‘Sunburst’ of family Clusiaceae.

  8. I believe this flower is commonly called Buttercup. Scientific name is Ranuculus acris

  9. Susie Besecker says:

Most definitely St John’s Wort. This is a native plant and grows on the edge of tree lines. I have lots of these lining my lot. An enjoyable low woody shrub.

  10. Angelyn says:

Jasmene is correct that this is Golden St. Johnswort (Hypericum frondosum). Its blooms are much larger than St. Johnswort (Hypericum perforatum).
