Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens)

WintergreenWintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) provides an evergreen ground cover enjoyable in all seasons of the year.  During spring and summer it sends up new shoots of red leaves.

WintergreenWintergreen’s red berries mature in the fall and remain on the plant through the winter.

    Thank you so much for your posts. They are so detailed and helpful. What a treasured resource. I hope you someday have the desire to do a comparison of the artemisia plants because they are difficult to find detailed information on. I am most interested in being able to identify mugwort varieties. Thanks again for all you do.

      I have grown this plant in western North Carolina. In fact, the images in this video are of the plant I purchased many years ago and which has successfully spread to a larger area.
